Sutherland Restaurant, Bar and Coffee House

I cannot say enough great things about Sutherland's! It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The trendy and modern atmosphere, along with exceptional service, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The food is outstanding, with a chef who is both creative and talented, crafting dishes that tell a story with each delicious bite. The menu is constantly evolving, offering a diverse selection of options while also including popular favorites. The homemade bread, dumplings, and ice cream were exceptional, with generous portions that leave you satisfied but not overstuffed. I highly recommend Sutherland's to anyone who appreciates high-quality food and drinks. With a gourmet menu and a laid-back vibe, Sutherland's is truly one of the best restaurants in the area. Plus, the fact that they have USB and regular plugs at each table in the cafe is a nice touch!

I had a fantastic lunch today with salt and pepper shrimp, brisket sandwich, and Caesar salad. The macchiato was the best I've had in a long time. The hospitality was outstanding.

The brunch at this restaurant was amazing! Everything is made in-house and tastes delicious. I ordered the "beast mode" breakfast and it was so good. Waffles, sausages, eggs, toast, bacon, and home fries - everything was included! I wanted to try everything on the menu. We also came for dinner on their first day and it was delicious, but the portions were small, so be sure to order more than one plate!

My daughter and I had breakfast at Sutherlands today. Ciara was our server and she was delightful. The buttermilk pecan banana waffle is amazing.

New addition to the small plates scene in Ottawa. We had 6 dishes total and all ranged from good to great. Reasonably priced, small but interesting wine list, great service. They also have a bar area should you just want to catch up with friends over drinks. Great new addition to the neighborhood! We'll be back.
