We are a repeated customer and the angel hotel never disappointed. the food was excellent, the service was always excellent and we sat in the bay window of the main restaurant, which was beautiful. Although busy, it felt relaxed and we came away and thought it was perfect for mama on Mother's Day. thanks to

We had a Sunday lunch recently. However it took 20mins for our starter to arrive from when we ordered and other tables who ordered after us were served before us. When we enquired apparently order had got lost. This hotell still has the reputation of poor service. This is a shame as the staff themselves are friendly and polite, they just need more training. The food was good and it is for this reason we will return.

We had to wait over an hour for our lunch to arrive, despite others receiving their food, deserts and bill before we'd had our food delivered. The food was good when it arrived.

Food was excellent, menu quite varied ranging from £14 burger to £26 steak. Service needs some work!
