LOVE this place! Our favorite quiet date night go to! Amazing shabu and rolls!
We arrived late and were warmly welcomed by all the staff, even those at the back of the restaurant! It felt great to be so welcomed. We ordered salmon nigiri, and our server recommended the tuna toro, which we absolutely loved! We also tried the Dragon Roll and Rainbow Roll, both of which were delicious. Our server was very attentive, making for a fantastic experience overall. They are currently in a soft opening phase and will be adding many more items to their menu soon! I highly recommend this place and plan to return in the near future!
This restaurant offers an extensive sushi menu, and their happy hour prices are incredible. The ramen gyoza were fantastic, and the service was excellent! You’ll definitely want to come back after your first visit—no more Sushi Kens for me. I tried their lunch special, shabu, where they bring a burner along with a bowl of flavorful broth and a variety of fresh ingredients for you to choose from, including raw meat. You cook everything yourself, starting with the hard vegetables for a few minutes, then adding the softer veggies, followed by the meat, and finally the noodles. Pour the boiled ingredients and hot broth over rice, and you’re all set. It was quite good, and I'm always eager to try new food experiences at least once!
Sushi Ken was an incredible discovery for us. After arriving from Seattle, we had initially planned to try Sushi Arizona, but I must say this place surpassed many restaurants in Seattle. Our group of five, including three kids, ordered two noodle combos: the Tonkotsu Ramen with Pork Cutlet Curry and the Zara Soba with Chirashi. We also enjoyed Hot Udon accompanied by four pieces of sushi. To share, we selected a few small dishes: Natto Maki, Calamari, Chicken Karaage, and Edamame. Every dish was fantastic and incredibly fresh. The sushi was light and flavorful, while the natto maki was excellent, made with high-quality nori and freshly prepared sushi rice. The noodle combos were hearty and packed with flavor, with the curry adding a delightful touch. I highly recommend planning a visit to Sushi Ken—you won’t regret it. We’re definitely planning to return on our next trip to Arizona.
