The Gillnetter Pub - Port Coquitlam

The pub has its ups and downs. I enjoy sitting on the patio, but the quality of the fish n chips can be inconsistent - sometimes it's great, other times not so much. The reason for the low review is due to this inconsistency.

The food lacks flavor and is unexciting. The service is inconsistent, with a constant turnover of servers who do their best to provide a good dining experience despite the crowded and run-down atmosphere.

We have done take out fish and chips several times from the Gillnetter and we are never disappointed. The quality is always good and the quantity of food is good.

The lunch menu today was outstanding! We ordered surf and turf Caesar salad… with the New York steak and prawns that were delicious. Great prices… very friendly and attentive service. I highly recommend
