Mae Ploy Thai Cuisine - Portland

I visited this restaurant with my cousin years ago and had a good experience. Today, I ordered the Tom Yum soup with shrimp. Unfortunately, there were only five small shrimp in the soup and not many vegetables. Despite this, the broth had a great taste. However, I don't feel it was worth paying extra for the shrimp.

Thai food is my absolute favorite food, and Mae Ploy is probably my favorite Thai restaurant in Portland. With how many Thai restaurants there are in the city, that’s really saying something. This joint consistently serves up food that is fresh, clean, and tasty as all get out. If that weren’t enough, the service is unbelievably friendly, and the space is cozy. If you’re enjoying a walk down Alberta, it’s hard to do better for lunch than Mae Ploy.

The restaurant has a vibrant and welcoming ambiance with plenty of greenery and sunlight. The food is delicious, especially the house specials. The service from our server was warm and attentive. A perfect score of 10/10!
