Very unique, fun experience! We enjoyed the evening!
Annual dinner at the place where we met. Despite our reservation, several walk-ins were set before us. We said we didn't say it was a special occasion. I guess the gifts we wore weren't enough of a hint.
The first time for both of us and we really enjoyed it. It felt like a short vacation of Ohio. The dishes and drinks were excellent, and our server was always close, if necessary. The only slight problem was the volume of noise. Sometimes it was hard to hear. Will definitely go back.
Cool environment with an island/tiki bar motif. We visited on a thursday evening around 6:30. Surprisingly, there was plenty of open tables with no wait. Some unique appetizers on the menu. Our waitress made a few recommendations. The broccoli was a surprising treat. We also had wings (spicy Hawaiian sauce) and vegetable spring rolls. They were good but not great. The biggest disappointment was the presentation of the food. Everything was in served on plastic..plastic plates, forks and all the sauces were in little plastic cups with lids. It took away form the experience. The main dishes had little preparation or pride in their presentation. The sauces we're interesting but that was overshadowed by the little plastic cups they were served in. To be fair, I think the main attraction is the drink menu which had about 20 choices with lots of creativity with unique combinations. I was there with my kids so I did not partake. All in all, I would recommend this place for drinks and appetizers. The ambiance quickly puts you in a festive mood!
