Felt that was a bit expensive especially the beer at £6.30 (certainly the most expensive pint I've had in Wales). The food was so-so but not really what I would call a plate-full. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
We were sat close to a very noisy group. We asked to move to another table as we couldn't even talk to each other, the shouting from the group was so loud. The group were moved to the back of the room but were not asked to be a little quieter. Other people started to leave the bar due to the noise. We sat at our table for over 15 minutes without anyone taking our order so we decide to leave as well.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Jacob was especially helpful during our fantastic dinner. I would give it 5 stars across the board and highly recommend it as the top spot to dine in Brecon.
Excellent Sunday lunch with excellent service from Jacob, thank you. Our table was ready on arrival, service was polite, informative and prompt. The food was very very good. The only negative was that the kitchen had ran out of roast potatoes. But the mash substitute was excellent. See you again!
Jacob was excellent and truly enhanced my dining experience with his outstanding care and attention to guests. His presence made my stay even more enjoyable.
