The chance to get breast meat was nothing new but done piri piri style was intriguing. It was very good. The plate came with two small sauce dishes, one piri piri and the other the regular sauce. The fries were not as warm as they should have been. Half a hamburg was put to good use sopping up excess sauce. My first choice for a Quebec beer was not on the menu [Boreale] so opted for Hoegaarden, the Belgian clove beer. I was offered indoor or outdoor seating [outside on a beautiful day]. I saw tables being washed and clean between uses. Paying the bill was very quick. My waiter was a decent chap. I told him his English was better than my French.
St. Hubert is not fine dining, but you know what you are ordering. The chicken was good, service was quick and the price is right. Exactly why we went there.
Atmosphere was lovely. Food was horrible. Salad was wilty smelly warm bagged lettuce. Chicken was over cooked and very dry.
While on the go in Quebec City, we wanted a simple lunch, but not a heavy meal to slow down our sight seeing. This was perfect. A real meal without the extra nonessentials.
