The atmosphere may not be the best, but the fish is always well-seasoned or marinated when they choose to do so. Additionally, the grill items are good and cooked with quality oil.
Salt and lemons is clean and well run, but nothing imaginative about the decor, it is a fish cafe that serves good quality fish and chips quickly and at favorable prices. popular with locals and that is always a trace to a good one. place to eat.
I was really looking forward to the birthday dinner at this restaurant. I was happy to find out that they were open on Sunday so my friends and I could take a bus there for lunch. However, it wasn't exactly the traditional English-style fish and chip shop I had heard about. The interior was very basic and the woman at the counter didn't seem too enthusiastic about serving us. When our food arrived, I was disappointed to find frozen chips and what looked like frozen fish that I could buy at the supermarket. The woman behind the counter was even painting her nails, which didn't seem very hygienic. Despite my initial reservations, I decided to go ahead and eat the food since we had made the trip there and I didn't want to make a scene. I ended up adding extra vinegar to my food to mask the taste. Within an hour of leaving, I had to make multiple trips to the bathroom and suspected that I had gotten food poisoning. I contemplated writing a review while I was still eating, but decided to wait until after the meal. After suffering from illness, I felt it was important to warn others through this review.
The ambience is not great, but the fish is always really well spiced or marinated if you choose that,. otherwise the grill is good and with good oil
