L'Ortolan - Reading

It's been a little while since I've been to L'Ortolan, but it was an absolutely spectacular place to eat a very special dinner. I understand that since I went here it's lost its Michelin star, which is disappointing. It certainly had the star when I ate there and it deserved it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Didn't get what I had booked,Didn't make a fuss ,think in hindsight I should have,clearly a lot of up selling going on,in my personal experience would not recommend, this is no reflection on the chef the food was nice. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+

Superb food and service. The standard wine flight with the tasting menu was £55 for 3 small amounts of reasonably good wine, which is very poor value.
