Redforno - Redfern

This restaurant is fantastic! Everything from the red, white, and green Vespa outside to the authentic Neapolitan pizzas and the Italian staff who converse with you in Italian, to the fact that they are closed on Sundays, truly reflects an Italian dining experience.

We went here because they had a half off special, would not go back and pay full price. The lasagna was inedible, as an Italian place i would be embarrassed to serve that. The pizza-flavor was okay but crust was so thin you couldn't pick...the pizza up to eat.

The pizza was just to die for fresh tomato sauce, crispy perfect traditional pizza base, beautiful toppings. We had a gluten intolerant friend eating with us who was pleased to discover that ANY pizza on the extensive menu can be made with a gluten...free base. Simple, elegant and delightful.

Other pizza places may have their cues out their door, but this simple, humble friendly restaurant will have you cueing for more. Great pizza's and served with a smile!

This Italian restaurant and pizzeria is outstanding! I enjoyed the most delicious pizza in Sydney here. The service was top-notch as well. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was fantastic.
