We were not disappointed. The snails were cooked in the best way I 've ever tasted in 20 years of regular visits to France in a delicious sauce and complemented perfectly by a parsley flan really a set mousse of parsley. Then my veal chop with a generous sauce of morilles (a delicious wild mushroom was superb. This was followed by a cheese platter of excellent local cheeses, and a seasonal fruit soufflé to finish. The rural setting, looking over the fields, is really beautiful. Service was exceptionally pleasant and the chef even gave us a lift home!
