Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI rolled into Minneapolis with the fury of the East Coast and was craving Khmer food to warm my soul and feet. I ordered the lemongrass soup and skewered beef, thinking I was going to enjoy Ma's cooking but in another city. Everything checked out asbeing Cambodian down to the decor, but when the food arrived and I tasted it, I was very polite to not regurgitate it right infront me. Then, I excused myself to the bathroom to double check that I was Cambodian, eating Khmer food in a Cambodianrestaurant. The lady tried to assure me that her spin on the traditional recipes were to cater to the masses, but I am convincedthat it was deliberately prepared that way upon my arrival. Never again! ???????????? *I would recommend going to Cheng Hengdown the street
Got the noodle soup, portion was on the little side for the price, noodle was too hard for my taste and the broth was a bit plain. It was a quiet place, may be due to covid. The lady who took our order wasn't so nice and was rushing us to make anorder. I had to ask her to return in 5 mins and allow us to review the menu but she stood by the our table until we order. Thatmade me feel quite awkward, never had that kind of service before, lol.
What a really unique and awesome experience! Cam in for late lunch on a Saturday afternoon and the place was mostly empty which is ok. I had no expectations at all but oh my goodness, what tasty and flavorful food! The portions are absolutely huge soexpect to share! Pricing is very affordable and the dishes range from popular Chinese and Thai dishes to some very uniqueCambodian dishes. There are some vegetarian options and the lady was kind enough to let us substitute meat for tofu or fish ifneeded. Tried the Siem Reap sour soup which was absolutely amazing! If you're on a budget and want to try something new this isdefinitely the place!!!!!!
Very delicious Cambodian dishes! If you want to try some authentic Cambodian dishes I recommend the Siem Reap Sour Soup, Prohok Ktees, Lot Chha, and Pak Lou.
Delicious food with lots of interesting options on the menu. #61 was very tasty as well as the sour and savory soup with beef and celery lemongrass! The egg rolls and the spring rolls very fresh too. I'm not a big coffee drinker but was recommended to try their iced coffee by my Cambodian friend and I really liked it! (It has some condensed milk in it and is wonderfully served to you) Our server was excellent as well! Will be back for sure.
