Hermann Fromagerie et Cave a Vins

Great place for breakfast / brunch, a common dish of cheese and cold meat has set us up for the day. Monsieur gives a big bill about all varieties and speaks good English. The store is very well equipped and is comfortable and clean.

Amazing range of cheese, delicacies and wines, of great quality. You can order and take your selection of treats, or enjoy dishes (plants) with a glass of wine at one of the few tables

Booked with great reviews. We were nervous because we don't speak French apart from basics. On arrival I practiced my speech, but no need as soon as they knew that we little French spoke about an adorable young man who spoke wonderful English....We received free first glass of wine and we chose the cheese and meat plate. Omg! So wonderful... great and so much choice! I'm sorry that the employees cut their feet... We waited for a second drink, but it doesn't mind. We would go back... the wine cave itself is beautiful... and I bought one with my name in French! Was delicious and varied... but you must book!!! Not many tables!!!

We visited here on our recent visit to France. Beautifully cheese board arranged artfully on dressed salad leaves. My husband is not keen on charcuterie so we chose just cheese. A lovely selection, our favourites being one with pesto and one with tomato, not usually...too keen on flavoured cheese but these were lovely and we purchased some to take home, also a bottle of white which had tried the evening before. We have to commend the service, as it was busy and only Hermann serving on his own with a cold. He was attentive and friendly with everyone. Very impressed ! Our dog wanted to visit again the following evening. He was also very well behaved even though he was surrounded by his favourite food.

The shop offer nice platters with quality cheeses and chacuterie. Really tasteful and nicely served.. They poor a housewine which will not win any prices. But they have a nice selection of wine you can order. This we did and enjoy. If you something to...eat, quality but not gi through the the whole restaurant routine thus place is recomnended. Also nice option for lunch.
