Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónMy wife and I went to this place on a saturday night in February and we were both amazed by the food. The restaurant is located in a town on the northern suburb of Montreal. So it is not very touristy but the people here are extremely welcoming especially of foreigners. The menu is out of this world. We ordered small plates to tastes and share and there ws really nothing to dissapoint. I recommend starting by oysters, they are really great and have a nice variety from various parts of Canada especially teh maritimes where oysters are a speciality. The contre-fillet and the morue (fish) are just perfect. they melt in your mouth and you can really tatse every flavor that goes into making each meal. The deserts, is a completely out if this workd experience. The canolis and the pot of Ferrero choclate are a must. It is not a very cheap place but for the quality of food and service, the place becomes realively cheap. Speaking of the service, it is just perfect. The waiters were all extremely well knowledegable of everything and they were super nice. They deserve all the praises. I highly recommend visiting this place. You will not be dissapointed at all Please like this review if you find it helpful. I was so surprised! I didn’t know there was such nice and fancy restaurants outside of Montreal, their menu is always changing and you have a wide range of amazing French/Italian/Mediterranean and Québec cuisine all fresh from the day, with a super great lunch special I am truly happy to have discovered this place.
We had a table for 7 on a Thursday night. We all started with house drinks and each Was a treat with fresh herbs and spices. The onion soup is a must, a tru delight. All in all we all had superb dishes with Prompt, attentive service.
They messed. Yo my reservation but the manager took care of it, kitchen is open so you see everything, staff is super nice and food is delicious.
I have been here many times, even writing a glowing review a few years ago and the only word I can use to describe our latest experience is disappointing. They’ve reopened in the last few months following a devastating fire and what a fantastic job they did reconfiguring the dining area. They’ve done a fantastic job with the place, but the kudos stops here. Same “pub style” menu, no revamps, no new items, same ole. The slate board menu, been there tried that... can you try something new and innovating? Onion soup with foie gras and dark beer was a great concept when offered three years ago, but can we change it up a bit? It did say “au gratin” but I could not find the cheese there was so little. It felt more like a consumé with a few chunks of onion, foie gras and bacon and a paper thin slice of gruyere, but you could only assume that’s what cheese it was since that’s what what written on the board. You definitely could not tell by the taste. The tartar was good as were the ribs but nothing more.
