I love Shelburne farms eating in a historic estate has been wonderful during the years I've lived in Vermont. The place has never disappointed till last night. The dishes are all Tapa sized. There are around 10 choices available. So they are assuming you'd order 30-40% of menu to make a meal. They recommended 3-4 to make a meal. I ordered lamb with wheatberries. Less than 2 oz of lamb loin, but the wheatbearies were bland. Basically a $27 appetizer, but called an entree? I usually don't review based on prices but their menu nor their switch to small plates only was not published on there website. The trout small plate was good but nothing special. We did not drink and had a $150 snack. Assuming you could find four things you want to try, plan on $150 a head plus drinks for a meal. We left there both lamenting we missed the old Shelburne Farms
Excellent trails and views including this waterfront point just west of the Coach Barn.
