Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónHad the sharing platter and it was Devine, very generous portions for three of us! The service was ok. And we watched the food being prepared in front of us.
Both travelled for two hours to meet up for lunch after checking website for opening times on Facebook and website only to find the restaurant was shut and a very rude man told us we should have phoned as sometimes the chef doesn’t turn up! We were gutted by his don’t give a dam attitude and the fact we had made a very long journey to go we won’t be back, we will tell all our friends not to go and if anyone reading this decides to go make sure you have your big girls pants on to cope with mr angry! Highly recommend Darwin’s Kitchen instead!
I cannot fault the quality of the food here, as I have been several times, and it is often busy. I just felt today that there were too much seating to cope with preparing food in the small cooking area. To re-iterate, my fish of the day was delightful, but I had to wait 43 minutes from ordering to my food being served. I will probably avoid Saturdays in future.
A wonderful place in Shrewsbury Market Hall, where you can see the fresh fish going into the food being cooked. The staff are happy and work together professionally. I walked into the Market Hall today feeling down with the weather, and the world in general. My Bouillabaisse was to die for, washed down with a glass of wine. I left feeling refreshed and happy after this superb meal!
Went earlier in the year. This was a very interesting lunch and the food was excellent. Very fresh fish. We journeyed from Birmingham and our friends from Runcorn. We wanted somewhere to eat and this sufficed. Later we tried a pub nearby.
