Fisch-Restaurant Blanke - Stadthagen

We ate here yesterday evening and had a very good surprise. The restaurant itself is clean and rather normal. The service is nice and kind but we have been impressed by the food. The owner offered us a Skrei (special cod fish from Norway available...only between January and April). The fish was excellent and very well prepared (vegetables, a light sauce and some potatoes). Price in line with the quality. I definitely recommend.

Found it via trip advisor. Good selection indeed reasonably priced fresh fish. all served in a clean and friendly place. Good waiters, speaking English.

So far from the sea but this restaurant serves the best fish dishes for miles around. I had the Helogolander with bratkartoflen which was delicious. Classy looking place, chef comes to table to check if you are enjoying your meal. Aways a good sign.

Although the restaurant was already praised and recommended, we were surprised by the quality and taste of the eating positiw. I wish my stay in stadthagen would have lasted longer, only to be able to return to this amazing place and try different...fish dishes. a visit in the beautiful stadthagen is unfinished without eating in the fish restaurant bare!

The server was very friendly and accommodating due to the language barrier. I had the mixed seafood special. the sauce was amazing and the fish was made perfect, would definitely come back. I would recommend the potatoes as a side with the seafood.
