Barron River - Stratford

We visited the Barron pub for the first time on Friday, and wow! What a fantastic place! It's incredibly charming, and we love that it has retained its original character. The band was excellent, the food was delicious, and the staff were all exceptionally friendly—every single one of them. We won’t be going back to our previous local pub; this is our new favorite!

We were just passing through and stopped for a meal here on Wednesday, as recommended by friends. My husband was very happy with his steak, and I enjoyed the roast belly of pork, which was delicious. The prices were also quite reasonable. If we find ourselves in this area again, we will definitely come back!

I had a wonderful experience with the friendly staff. The food was beautiful, and the portion sizes were great—definitely worth the money!

Had a miscommunication issue trying to make a take away order with one of the staff members, which which was quickly sorted by the Manager Col. And on his day off to say the least. I am actually impressed to see such committed customer service. Something that is not that common these days. Plus our dinning experience was that impressive I can guarantee we will become regular dinners. Thanks Guys.

Great food at a great price. Atmosphere is nice and the kids play ground is decent enough for five minutes of silence.
