Zushi - Surry Hills

I wanted to share our recent dining experience at Zushi with you! Last week, we ordered a full sushi and sashimi platter, but one of our friends turned out to be allergic to oysters. The chef happily remade the platter using different gloves to ensure our friend's safety. We were extremely impressed by this level of care, as well as the delicious food and friendly staff. I had dined at this restaurant once or twice when I lived in Surry Hills a few years ago. At that time, it was a bit expensive but worth it. However, after dining there again last night, I can confidently say that it is one of the best meals I have had in Sydney. Each course was creatively delicious, especially the prawn rolls. I believe they use fresh wasabi, and the staff were friendly, relaxed, and attentive. There were moments when I was completely lost in the flavors and drifted into a dream-like state. It was absolutely amazing.

Delicious food and welcoming service. My go-to dish is the eggplant dish (nasu dengaku) with crispy lotus root chips. Absolutely delicious!

Zushi is a favourite restaurant for me and my husband, we drive an hour to eat here and it's well worth it. Food is exceptional, never been disappointed. Fantastic experience with the most beautiful food, you won't be disappointed!

We have been there a couple of times and it's never disappointed! The sushi is soooo fresh and delicious... The marinated egg plant is also amazing. We had the most delicious bottle of French wine which we loved so much that we had a 2nd. Staff super friendly and helpful too. Will definitely be back!
