Very very good place to eat , if you drive past it doesn’t look appealing and you wouldn’t even stop but trust me when you go and try the food it’s out of this world from tajine to burgers , only problem with this place is it’s hardly open when he goes to Morroco or on holiday it’s for a month . Be careful. The prices I was charged were MORE THAN DOUBLE those quoted on the online menu. The menu in the restaurant has no prices, they don't give you a hill or a receipt and I had a big shock when they charged £38.50 for a tagine, a couscous and two cans of drink. When we mentioned the prices on the online menu, they said these were old prices (website updated January 2023). I feel really cheated and although the food was delicious I will not be going there again.

Found this local restaurant online. I checked the prices before leaving, looked very reasonable eg £9 for couscous and £8 for tajine. It's a little cafe style place, no fancy decor or waiting staff etc. The menu was very creased and didn't show the prices. Cash only. The food was great and very plentiful, the staff very friendly. We had chicken couscous and lamb tagine with prunes etc, and delicious fresh baked bread. I really thought I'd discovered a hidden gem and was looking forward to telling friends and family. There was no bill and no receipt and we were shocked to get £1.50 change from £40: two meals, two cans of drink and bread for £38.50! When I went home, I checked the online prices again and.found the total should have been £18.40 without the bread which was not on the menu. My arabic speaking friend rang the restaurant, thinking there must have been a mistake, but the lady said it was £18 for one dish and £19 for the other. He quoted the prices on the online menu and she said these were the old prices (updated January 2023, according to the website). The prices were MORE THAN DOUBLE those on the website. I was so so disappointed, I thought this was going to be my regular local restaurant where I would bring friends and family. But I now feel cheated and despite the lovely food there's a bitter taste in mouth.

This place genuinely filled me with joy. I was smiling through every morsel. Food was comforting.
