L' Altro Molo - TRANI

A very nice restaurant, in a great location. We had the tourist menus of 15 and 25 euros (starters, first and second dishes, desert, coffee) which were excellent as both food quality and quantity. The waiter was very friendly and professional and the price was OK for the service and quality. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

The appearance is not impressive but the food and staff are excellent. The prices are also quite good. The eggplant appetizer was outstanding. Seafood is the speciality but excellent pizza is available too. The whole experience was exceptional and created a very positive memory of Trani.

If you need inspiration to write a comedy is probably the right place in town. The food was quite good and well presented. Unfortunately we had to explain them that the concept of having a dinner together implies to eat at the same time. We were two. I got my dish after my friend finished hers. My side dish arrived once I had finished my main course. Waiters were running around and seemed to mix a part of the orders and forget the rest of them. It was such a mess that it was nearly hilarious. Of course they didn't even consider apologising or even to question themselves. Apparently they are convinced that they were doing it right. They didn't even say good by... whatever... I think that there are plenty of other options around. If you have a good sense of humour... why not.

Dinner was creative, interesting and unusual. Fish antipasto was not to be missed. Enjoyed a liter of excellent inexpensive local white wine. Friendly staff were helpful and spoke better English than our Italian. In a row of restaurants along the harbor, this is the gem among the stones.

On a sunny Sunday in July, we sit without reservation. apart from the initial expectation for the ordination a little excessive, for the rest great service and food. pleasant atmosphere on the main road of the marina. excellent fish dishes and superlative ribs for my children. prices decidedly contained considering the price/quality ratio. to return absolutely when they are in the area.
