Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónOnce again, Palace Cafe was amazing. We decided to go one final time before they close this weekend. It has always been one of our top choices. Bittersweet feeling...sigh.
I have visited this restaurant several times over the years, but last night's food was very salty. The waiter was terrible! He came back to take our order and we had to remind him that we had already given it to him. He brought out the wrong size of soup and the incorrect drink. We had to go to the bar ourselves to get the correct drink. It's disappointing that our last visit was so subpar.
I had dinner last night and both the food and our server, Brian the bartender, were fantastic. I have food allergies and they were very careful to avoid cross contamination. They prepared a special off-menu dish for me, cooking it in a separate, clean pan to ensure my safety. The dessert, a lemon meringue mini, was delicious. We also enjoyed a perfect cup of freshly brewed coffee with our dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This was a great brunch! Just a bit short of that 5th star... The food was great. The server was friendly. The menus were out-of-date and the coffee was, I don't think I've ever said this, too HOT! ???? After it cooled a bit, the taste wasn't to bad. It's pricy but tastes worth it. This was a first visit, we'll see how the next one goes.
The drinks were pretty good, and the bento bite appetizers were good. My wife and I got the fish special which was halibut and it was WAY overcooked. Good flavors, but it was the driest fish I’ve ever eaten. Very disappointing considering it was $42 perplate. Service was very good.
