Float Lounge - Ucluelet

The food at Currents was fantastic! Although we initially tried to make a reservation, we ended up in the lounge which turned out to be a fabulous experience. The menu online doesn't do justice to the delicious food we enjoyed. The crabs were tasty, the fish and chips were light and flavorful, and the steak sandwich was a hit. We also indulged in some cocktails and delicious chocolate and mocha cakes. The view from the restaurant was amazing and the service was top-notch. We will definitely be back!

The best view on the west coast! We ordered steak and lobster, but we were disappointed to receive sirloin instead of tenderloin, which was overcooked. The garnish was also overcooked and cut in half. Breakfast with family and friends was underwhelming, with sour bread soaked in butter and cold pancakes the next morning. The French toast was also soaked in butter. I have recommended this restaurant to over 50 people, but there are too many mistakes in the kitchen. However, the view is amazing. I recommend trying the clam chowder, as it was excellent.

Large selection of spirits and wines that complemented a stellar bartender and unique perspective under a west coast wave!

We ordered the mushrooms and the salt and pepper chicken wings and went back to our room to enjoy them.

Went for dinner tonight service was okay food not so much fish and chips greasy and my partner found a bone in her fish coleslaw was in the same serving size container as the ketchup and aioli on the side fries were...hot on arrival not piping but hot and cooled rapidly so had been warming and were the ends of the batch mentioned this to our server and he said thanks for telling me searched to find one long enough to eat beef dip had fatty, bits in it hard to chew overall grade C staying at the resort not eating in again
