We chose to dine in this restaurant for its setting: interior type chalet, really cute. on the map, very few dishes, which is reassuring. We took a raclette (type raclette à l'ancien). the manager clearly specified us at the beginning of the meal that we could ask him again potato, charcuterie or other if we didn't have enough. I found this coming and enjoyable from him. concerning the kitchen, I did not find the very good charcuterie (there were mortadella, chorizo, but no sausage, damage). I'm reading pretty bad comments on the boss. she's an atypical woman he's true, but she doesn't deserve so much negative comments. Thank you for your Christian welcome.
The setting is pleasant, it makes mountain atmosphere.We arrived a little before the time of our reservation, at 7:45 pm, and well took us. The boss told us to wait for a group of 10 people (backed right after us) and feared to get too patient, so we quickly passed our orders and were served quickly.Two other tables of two were occupied after us, these people there waited for at least an hour to be served .... for us, we ate a fondue and an ice in two hours! a group of four was presented They insisted on staying in vain. a little surprising for us who attended the stage (it must be said that it was already the third ones that we saw getting turned back!). the other four people, very friendly, which allowed us to take our evil in patience, and we even thought we were dreaming, but let's end up laughing: the people who have booked get fired, those who are there waiting and wondering if we should leave and those who have not booked are asked to iron later on two occasions (finally, they have announced not to come!). Well, it seems that the waitress who was supposed to be there didn't come. That being, there was the boss, a woman and a man to serve. (in the kitchen? apparently the same, but I didn't go to see). The restaurant has fed 16 people tonight .... the seating capacity is at least double. The distribution of the dishes was as folkloric: the raclettes almost did not have potatoes, the fondues, at the bottom of the room, had them while they did not expect them. On dessert, we ask for a shotamisu with blueberries (on the map), there are no, not cooked that day, and when we flew on an ice cream with a genepi, not sure we have it, because it is possible that it was not delivered....For the dishes, we ate very well: copious and very good. for a savoyard fondue with country charcuterie and green salad and creamy ice cream at the genpipe. We were brought back some cheese when we were asked and the ice was big and... watered. The other two tables agreed for quality and quantity (shoes and melts, I think they zealed dessert because of the time )!.the patroness has all dedommagnified us, the six people in our room, offering us a glass of genepi, very good.The moment to pay : 54€ to two (very reasonable for what we ate). my companion comes out his blue card and there.... no, no blue card in this restaurant. cheque or cash. a two, we do not collect the amount in cash (I never have more than 40€ of liquid and my companion who could only withdraw species at the post was a little dry). I don't take my handbag and therefore have only the strict minimum on me, not to check it out. the arranger boss proposes to give him the check the next day, but we are not close to the restaurant (we lodge below) and when we ski we do not pass through there. So I decided to go take cash to the bank in front....The explanation of the thing: having a payment terminal would cost him too much. either. So, I'm telling her she'd have to say she's not taking the blue card. answer: "No, I would lose customers." she tells me that if I don't have to check, I can make a check on any paper, that's true, but if she doesn't want to bear the payment fees by bank card, I don't want to bear the costs of a non-standard check, it would cost me 12€ (does the calculation on an addition of 54€ )!.I didn't really like that part. I find it to take its customers hostages that not to say which means of payment we do not take, when one refuses the one who is majority accepted as the blue card (the customer cannot make his arrangements, or even not come if he knows not to be able to pay). Knowing that it's the checks that aren't taken. If I had eaten badly, or the boss had been unpleasant, I would have told him that I was going with a check the next day and that I would never be back. What do you mean? I don't advise this restaurant, even if I have eaten very well. the nice atmosphere with the other guests contributed a lot to the pleasant side of the evening. the fact that we were on another planet by being spectators of the management of the restaurant also helped. I imagine in other circumstances... I would not have supported. Already, the blue card hit was hard to pass while I was relaxed.If you are players: try it!
This restaurant is very well placed and warm but it is its only assets. We took a raclette, correct cheese but mediocre charcuterie (more fat than flesh). Of course, once served, we are told that there is no more salad ( apparently the boss would have forgotten to buy it...) and that the potatoes are not cooked. We had 2 potatoes for 4 people in the meantime. and of course we have never seen the color of those who cook (arnaque?). In addition to a more than average food, the atmosphere is absolutely detestable. the boss, completely drunk, parade between the tables with inappropriate speeches. to crown everything, it lets a bird fly freely in the restaurant, which gently makes its needs on all chairs and tables. It’s horrible to think that two hours ago there might be a bird crack on your table and that was just tried with a towel. Moreover this bird is apparently a rare protected bird that has no place in captivity. In summary, this restaurant is perfect if you are not hungry and an experience with a bird-shoeing shoe tempts you.
At first sight the restaurant looks nice. Once inside it's very small, we're a little tight. The plates are well trimmed. However, there is a lack of hygiene and professionalism (at any level). is not worth the gault and vintage macaron. disappointed to have finished our stay in this restaurant.
