The India Gate - Vereeniging

Drove almost 100km to Curry Gate and back home. Would I do it again? Of course. Incredible service, polite and friendly. Knowledge value and not shy to make proposals. Good is very expensive and tasty, although tasty feels like an understatement. Best curry experience I had in my life.

Wow! What an absolutely fabulous culinary experience! Beautiful, welcoming decor with comfortable chairs, great service, amazing delicious food with generous portions and desert was a beautiful end to a wonderful meal. Undoubtedly, the best butter chicken is served here in S.A.! Definitely a new favorite!

Had the Hammelbreyani and the Chinese vegetable soup. Both portions were delicious and I think the portions were very generous, too generous.

The food served here is delicious. You need to fight for Indian food when you look away from this place. Nevertheless, ghe food is great and service on point. The food is freshly prepared so that it can take some time to wait is the curries and dishes served. The owner is friendly and food is customizable upon request to taste buds from SA. Food 8/10 Hygiene 8/10 Service 7/10 Ambience 8/10

To be clear it only gets 1 star because I can't rate it zero stars. Food was absolutely atrocious and completely bland. Service was bad. They messed up our order and gave my vegetarian mother chicken. I do not recommend this place to anyone. You'd be better off eating out of a garbage bin — that way you wouldn't have to deal w/ the terrible manager as well.
