Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónShould have heeded the warning when I entered,; lunchtime and more staff (5) than diners. Ordered their battered fish butty, £11.95, received a soggy fish of indeterminate origin wrapped in 2 slices of unbuttered white bread with rocket leaves (no dressing) as a side. The cook, doesn't deserve the title of chef, should be ashamed of letting food of this quality out of the kitchen. In truth, this establishment should be much, much better than it is.
No dogs inside fine. We sat on the terrace for the coffee and cake deal in spite of the cold (again, not their fault). Iced americano: far too much ice. Flat white: fine but slopped out of the cup. Muffin: fine. Cinnamon roll: stale, hard (I couldn’t get my fork through it), pretty much inedible. Not cheap either! We won’t be returning.
Whilst the surroundings were quite pleasant, the food was underwhelming, and the service was poor. I joined a friend who had a drink, but it was some time before I could get attention to have a drink myself and then again to order food. I had the black and blue burger supposedly topped with blue cheese and onion marmalade the cheese was very orange! The fries were very dry and hard. We decided to finish with a sweet but they only do cake. After persuasion, the waitress did come back with a list of cakes, but it was incomplete. When asked what coffees were, the full menu was left on the table for me to look through to find the coffee range. Rather than wait any longer, I ordered drinks and cakes from the counter. They were eventually brought to the table one item at a time! The waitress was young but obviously had no training, which means the poor service is down to management.
Really nice location, lots of parking and easy to find. Staff are superb, very friendly and great customer service. Coffee was really good, some of the best we've had. The decor and setup is very nice, it's clean and it has a great atmosphere. The prices are also quite reasonable given the setting and high quality finish of the place. We will be returning for a lunch or dinner. We would recommend you try this place out. The only downside is the cake we had was a bit dry and the only reason why we're not reviewing it as a 5 star.
Rocked up here with my Daughter and Granddaughter on Tuesday around 1pm. Really large carpark but noticeably only one disabled bay that I could see but it was empty so it was fine for us. Well me really. I can't walk very far and it was quite a stretch from car to our table in the conservatory area. Very attractive interior and comfortable seating. We ordered soft drinks for a driver, child and a Grumpy. Then a Bosco burger, a crispy chicken wrap and for me a set of three Tapas. They were Chorizo, pork belly and calamari. Totally delicious. And I would love to have them again. On the burger, the meat pattie was found to be rather too solid for my daughters liking. A smash burger style would be better. The food took quite a while to arrive but we were not in any hurry. And it was worth the wait. I hope to try a breakfast in due course. We were all so glad that we went to Di Bosco for lunch.
