Salty uncooked food lousy service. This place has gone way down hill. Do not make the trip

Update: it's been 2 years since I've been back to the Walpack Inn. I've been going to the Walpack for over 10 years now and my last review of the restaurant wasn't great. I was told maybe it wasn't good due to COVID, but I had gone a few other times during COVID with great results. I went back today for the first time since May 2021 and what a world of difference. Last time the service was bad (mostly empty seating area, waiting 30+ minutes for our drinks), food was bad (pure salt and overcooked), just an overall bad experience especially for the price you pay for the food. This time around everything was perfect. From the food to the drinks to the service, everything just hit right. To anyone who's ever had a subpar experience at this establishment, give them a second chance. Tonight was perfection.

The flavors were exceptional, and the overall dining experience was fantastic. The service was attentive and friendly, making for a truly enjoyable lunch in a lovely atmosphere.
