Perfect pub for a drink on a hot sunny day, an old building with renovated interieur, it keeps its original charm, the garden is a good size with many tables. I was greeted by friendly efficient staff. I didn't eat, but the menu looks good, and big tellers of good looking pub food were constantly served while I was there.

Attended The Classic Car Show at Cranleigh today, decided to go off site and have breakfast in this local pub. All good, does what it says on the tin, they catered for my veggie requirements, very attentive and friendly bar staff, reasonably priced. More than happy !

The employees didn't know we had booked. service was sporadic. dead flowers in all days. Bearing that it was for dinning with several people eating it was always a let’s get hammered vibe from the workers! eating was very good, though compliments of the chef. the menu did not correspond to the feeling of the bar and the staff 2 very different feelings!

When we arrived. they had no recordings about my booking that was through open table?! they had no more tables, as it was a fully booked restaurant! fortunate they found a table in the bar and we had a nice evening. I will no longer book through open table! I will book directly to avoid any disappointment, not get a table again! thank you, more openly, they almost spoil our evening!

Large lunch menu. the fish and chips were delicious damp fish and crispy teig. service was fast and friendly.
