Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe were extremely disappointed today. We have been cycling to the farm shop and cafe for many years. We accept we are coming out of lockdown and therefore we would need to be patient for drinks and food. However, the poor young girls working behind the ‘cafe bar set up’ were woefully under staffed and inexperienced which led to inordinately long waits. No savoury food was being served so we had to queue up at the shop separately for a sausage roll... which was another 20mins. We used to get a large sausage roll, heated that represented good value because of the quality. Today we paid £2.20 for what was more like a cocktail sausage in pastry! A small slice of lemon cake was £3.50!! The coffee was served with a dirty milk jug that had what can only be described as a piece of leak in the bottom and residue from a previous serving. Just not good enough for the high prices. Many people there today were dissatisfied. Sorry guys, you have really starting to let your customers down and there really is no excuse other than greedy over charging. I so want this to change so I can write a positive review because there are so many positive aspects about the farm.
Very happy with the produce. The price are reasonable. Remembering that organic food is far more nutritious and satisfying since it does not have artificial additive and other **** in it which causes you to need more to actually satisfy you and there is no need to have bulk of it to actually provide the nourishment you need. Somethings I would not buy due to cost as a personal choice but most things are perfectly reasonably priced. IF there was a way to make it cheaper I am sure they would do their best to pass it on. Great for walks of all ages too I think locals are fortunate ot have this farm in our community..
We came here from riding our bikes along the Forest Row. Blindly following google maps meant it took us into Forest Row and back round again but if you turn right instead of turning left into Forest Row, the path will lead you directly to the farm. Would be good if the farm stuck a sign up on the fence to direct those who wanted to come to the farm. It was a hot sunny day and there were no more tables in the shade but the staff were really friendly and let us set up a picnic blanket in the shade, next to the outside cafe. My boys (6 and 8) were so hungry after their ride we ordered 3 x ice creams, 2 x fizzy drinks, 1 x sausage roll, 2 x cakes, and 1 x latte. Came to £23 which I thought was reasonable for the amount of food and drinks we ordered. We also went to the farm shop. My son loved picking out the vegetables but we couldn't carry very much as we were on our bikes otherwise we would have bought more. All in all I thought it was a really lovely place to visit. We also stopped along the way back on Forest Row to look at the cows and their calves. Toilets are also open and sufficient.
I visited Tablehurst Farm today after three months of self-isolation. I must say I had very high hopes. Unfortunately it did not meet my standards, regarding the food, staff and service. They had a brilliant team before lockdown. What has happened?
We been coming to Tablehurst for a while now, it used to be lovely. The shop manager is passive aggressive and totally uninterested in providing a decent service. It's like customers are an inconvenience to her, there is just no customer service here at all from anyone anymore. The shop is a mess, looks dirty as well with no organisation at all. The layout doesn't flow. There is no care here. What has happened? Too much competition to return here.
