March Hare - West Lindsey

I would highly recommend this eatery for the high quality of food and the comfortable and clean dining area . The two members of staff who looked after us were very sociable and nothing seemed too much trouble for them . Abbey and Sehren were definitely one or two of the reasons we will come back . Give The March Hare a visit. You won't be disappointed . Even if it's to use the spotless toilets !

I was disappointed after reading the mixed reviews, but I came with an open mind. If you enjoy dining with dogs, then this is the place for you! One dog was sitting on someone's lap with its paws on the table. The portion sizes were also expensive and very small.

We were seated right away and ordered two large lattes, which arrived promptly along with a delicious lotus biscuit. We also ordered a March BLT sandwich and a Philly steak sandwich, which came quickly and were both delicious with a side salad and a ramekin of coleslaw. We enjoyed our main dishes and followed it up with a cappuccino and a caramel shortbread cake, which was delicious. The staff were friendly, the service was great, and the food was beautiful. We will definitely be visiting more often.

Hmmmmmm not as good as used to be! The service was extremely slow and sluggish. All we wanted was 2 slices of cake and 2 lattes. The service to get served was slow and to receiving our coffees, to came to our table was so slow. The cups were small and presentation of the cakes wasn’t that good. So not really good value for money. Used to be so good here but appears to have lost its direction. The cafe wasn’t even busy.

After reading some not so good reviews on here in the last few weeks, I was really apprehensive about going here, but it was my daughters birthday and her choice. My daughter and her partner had pre offered the tomahawk steak and were informed earlier in day it wasn't available so ordered the chateau briand. Staff were welcoming and friendly and although one member of her partner didn't like hers, they straight away took it off the bill. There was no rush, we even ordered another bottle after dinner, which we was able to enjoy at leisure. Would like to say thankyou to Sinead and Lesley for their friendl friendliness and professionalism, and making our whole evening very enjoyable
