This restaurant deserves accolades for all around great atmosphere, service, cuisine and a friendly down home experience. The owners greet their customers as if they were arriving into their home. That sets the tone for the entire evening. If you are looking for a restaurant that gives you great food coupled with great service and very reasonable prices for the Westhampton area, don 't miss Casa Basso. It 's a winner on all levels.

Worst place ever!! ' Stay away!! Castle was closed. U open a screen door in next building that was run down like someones 1950 back porch w bright open paper sign on door. The first dining room you entered was a smell of must like old basement with the rug to match. Should have turned around and ran. Second room was very dim same smell and rugs taped together at seems w silver tape. Ate outside but bugs kept landing in food. Food was over priced and not edible. Never again. Idk how people eat there. Place was packed when we left waiting for old timer to perform. Never again. I just fig was packed with people who can not read a recipe. Scary experience. doesnt even deserve one star.

Classic Italian restaurant, dim lighting and live music with tremendous proportions. The wine list is literally a binder! Long list of daily specials, there were FOUR fish entree specials and a 2lb Lobster special on our recent visit. Everything was cooked perfectly, the service was excellent and we were allowed to take as much time as we wanted to enjoy our evening. I have loved the swordfighting characters at the gate since I was a little boy. My only regret is not visiting this establishment more often. It's like a throwback to an episode of Columbo and I mean that in best way . Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
