The beautiful historic and modern interior design of this Restaurant Hotel, the view over the hills and sitting in between the old massive masonry walls make the dining experience even more special. The service was superb!

All what I could think about was, “someone has been tasting their food, ooooo.” The ribs was so savory, you just closed your eyes to solidify a concrete memory of eating them. I stuffed myself so much, they asked if we wanted more, and everyone’s eyes widened like NO! We would all bust, it was that good. Every time I go to Portugal, which is yearly, I’m going back.

The clams were average, the octupus rice was overly salted as well as the sardines. The service was miserable, for being a reasonably young couple we were ignored by multiple members of staff and had to wait about 30 min for someone to take our order the restaurant was at 50% capacity).We were rudely spoken to by one of the elderly men on service and weren’t even greeted upon entry, we were told to find a table ourselves. If it weren’t for the waitress that served us we would’ve left right after having our bread and butter.
