The medium big kahuna philly was good, but small for $10 and... leer más This is the first Jersey Mike's I have tried. I have been twice. The first time I ordered in store. The medium big kahuna philly was good, but small for $10 and it took 13 minutes to get. The second time I ordered, I used the website and placed an order for a medium club sub with special instructions to have it toasted or heated. I ordered 10 minutes before arriving. When I got there, it was not on the take out rack, so I sat down. A few minutes later a gentleman asked what I ordered and if it was online. I said I ordered a club sub online and asked for it to be heated. He looked around for a minute, found a ticket that had apparently been misplaced, he apologized and said it would be ready in a minute. A few minutes later he said here ya go and apologized again for the wait, which from my online email confirmation to getting the sub was 18 minutes. I got back to my office and the sub wasn't heated or toasted and like the philly, is small for the price. The employees are nice and friendly, but it's hard to justify 13 to 18 minutes of a 30 minute lunch break to get a single sub, especially when ordering ahead of time.

I should have known something was amiss when we arrived last Friday evening at 7:15 PM and the parking lot was nearly empty. The margaritas and chips/salsa were good, but our dinners tasted like they sat under a heat lamp for a good while before we were served. By the time our server came to check on us, we were ready to leave and it didn't seem worth the bother to complain. We will not be back.

For the most part, my food is always right. The ambience is really fun and I would definitely go here again. The staff was very friendly and the prices are fair. It would be a fun place to watch a game and play pool.

Today was my first time here and it's already my favorite Asian restaurant in town. The guy working was super nice, their menu has plenty of good options without being overwhelming, and the food was surprisingly good. I know this sounds dumb, but when I opened my to go order it felt like they read my mind and knew exactly how I wanted it prepared. It was tofu lo mein, but they didn't cram it full of celery or some other garbage vegetable. It had perfectly cooked broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and onions, and the tofu wasn't a leathery soggy sponge like I've gotten at other places. The tofu pieces here were like tasty little pillows. He wasn't stingy with the sauce, the order came out quickly, and the portion was generous for the price. I know this seems like a lot of detail, but it was just a refreshing experience when it's hard for me to find a restaurant that hits all of the notes. I don't have a picture of the dish to share because I already ate it all. Get your own!

The whole interior of this restaurant is smaller than my bedroom, but the food packages a terrible big hit despite! my gott has eaten a few heavenly fish tacos... leer más The whole interior of this restaurant is smaller than my bedroom, but the food packages a terrible big hit despite! my gott has eaten a few heavenly fish tacos on this joint! not the fried fish new wave stuff, naw, well brewed tilapia. the only reason I give this point 4 stars is because the tacos were super fat, except, amazing! they have daily lunch and dinner specialities, margaritas, nachos, enchiladas and more! they can sit on their terrace inside or outside. my honest opinion, this is the perfect midday place if they are ever in the inner city of roanoke.
