Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI made a reservation about open table and was told that it only provides high table seats. it was embarrassing to get to see the place almost empty and find out that a reservation was unnecessary. the suppe of my man was cold, but everything else was great.
Eating is easy to order and is too expensive. it was $16 for a martini that was quite short. the restaurant is literally not an ambiente to speak. it was also very cold most people in the restaurant to carry their moms (I expect it to be a function of the restaurant is part of the very large open hotel lobby room. the service was very attentive, but they put a mandatory 20% satisfaction on the check. with all other restaurants in ithaca (we probably eat there 30x/yr,) I do not expect that we will be back.
Beautiful place at the Hotel lobby. It was sheer lack of luck for us and the actual conditions nowadays that made our experience not great. First, we got lucky to have made a reservation, otherwise we wouldn't have being able to enter. Second, inside was very noisy and they're quite short staffed. We waited for ages to have our orders taken and served. The Staff is great and very polite, by the way, but still... the waiting is a set off. Third: the unluck part there was a fire in the kitchen and everybody had to leave their stuff and the building, for what seemed like ages, but must have been about 15 to 20min. And it was quite a cold night. After that, when we returned, the food (which stood at the table) was already cold and the spirits ruined. The food taste is great (price is ok) and people are very nice, but I'll be waiting for some time before going back.
We had a great night. The steak was delicious. The baked potato was super good. The pesto fries were great. Thank you
