Even if this place looks very tempting and beautiful (very likely it was the most beautiful bar in the area, this place is an authentic tourist trap. Not only was everything overpriced, but not edible. We asked for an overpriced cocktail, a coconut mojito (what can go wrong with a mojito, right? and the cocktail tasted. Needless to say, we could not even finish with the cocktail, as we were actually concerned for our health. When the time for the bill came, magical, the price rose by 30% and the waitress began to be rude, we asked them if it was possible to pay in USD, and it was an even bigger mistake, they must have thought their local currency had at that moment significantly appreciated because the ratio they used was $43 Dominican Pesos $1USD (at that moment the ratio was 60 $1USD). We didn't argue and pay, we just wanted to get out of this place as soon as possible.

Attention: There are two different menus! If you get the one in dollars they are scamming you. Ask for the other. You can see that in the pictures. It's almost twice as much as the one in pesos. They will also sometimes try and charge you for the side that is supposed to come with your order. Make sure you agree on the price (and any other fees) before you order. Service was painfully slow and the waitress never checked up on us. Food was pretty decent. Location is beautiful. They don't need to scam people to do well here but they do, which lets you know what kind of shady people work here.
